Tonweya Indian Dancers

The name "Tonweya" (tawn-way-uh) is the Sioux word for "scout". Since 1983, the Tonweya Indian Dancers (all of whom are scouts from Troop 74) have performed 1000's of shows throughout the United States. The members perform traditional Native American Indian dances and have the opportunity to design and wear their own Indian regalia. The group meets on Thursday nights from 6:30-7:30 PM at the Firestone Park United Methodist Church and are led by Mr. Schmidt.
